Pearl of the Valley is a quest item found in a treasure chest in Quake Valley. The treasure chest is behind a waterfall, where a bomb must be used to blow up the cracked wall. If it's missed in chapter 3, 4, or 5 it can't be collected later in the game.

After finding it it can be exchanged for 200 salt by Assistant Yasu outside the subway station in New Dam City.
